This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from ARKAIA through our website. This policy is drafted specifically keeping solar-powered lighting and electrical products in mind.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SOLAR PRODUCTS:

Solar products depend on sunlight exposure, weather conditions, charging time, and correct installation. Performance may vary based on usage conditions.

Returns or refunds will not be accepted for reasons related to:

  • Insufficient sunlight or shade placement

  • Weather conditions (rain, fog, winter sunlight)

  • Incorrect installation or usage

  • Performance expectations not aligned with product description

Customers are advised to carefully read product descriptions and usage instructions before purchasing.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY:

A product will be eligible for return or replacement only if:

  • The item is damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery

  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • The product is unused and in original condition

  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and invoice are intact

  • For claims related to damaged, defective, or incorrect items, customers must provide a clear, uninterrupted unboxing video recorded at the time of opening the package, showing the sealed package and the issue clearly

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS:

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products damaged due to improper use or installation

  • Products showing signs of physical damage after delivery

  • Products used or installed outdoors

  • Customised or bulk orders

  • Clearance or discounted items (unless damaged on arrival)

REFUND POLICY:

A) Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved after inspection:

  • The refund will be processed to the original payment method

  • Refunds will be completed within 7–10 business days after approval

B) Shipping Charges

  • Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or incorrect item sent by us

REPLACEMENT POLICY:
  • Replacement requests are subject to product availability

  • If the same product is unavailable, we may offer:

    • A replacement with a similar product, or

    • A refund, at our discretion

WARRANTY (IF APPLICABLE):
  • Certain solar products may carry a limited warranty, as mentioned on the product page or invoice

  • Warranty does not cover:

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Battery performance degradation over time

    • Damage caused by external factors such as voltage fluctuations, water ingress (unless rated), or mishandling

BULK & B2B ORDERS:
  • Bulk, wholesale, or B2B orders are governed by separate agreed terms

  • Returns or refunds for such orders will only be accepted if explicitly stated in the written agreement or quotation

CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch

  • Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled

  • Refunds for cancelled orders (before dispatch) will be processed within 5–7 business days

FINAL DECISION RIGHTS:

ARKAIA reserves the right to:

  • Inspect returned products before approving any refund or replacement

  • Reject return or refund requests that do not meet the criteria mentioned above

The decision of ARKAIA shall be final and binding.
